Jon's Peugeot flip-flop

This is the Peugeot that finally stuck. After building myself a mid '80s UO10 (didn't care for the decals), a mid seventies UO8 in white (too big) and a late '60s to early '70s PX10 (too "racy"), all of which I ended up selling, I have finally built the Peugeot that I must keep.

It is a 1974 UO8 (bought new by the lady from whom I purchased it), with the original ADGA seat. It had less than 100 miles on it when I bought it.

I used some black flip-flop wheels I had lying about, 700x35c tires and a black Pyramid "Moustache" bar along with an SR alloy "Campy-like" crank and bottom bracket spindle to build it up.

It was one of those builds which happened kinda accidently. I decided at 8:00 PM to put the wheels in the frame and see how it looked, and I finished it off at 1:00 AM.

It turned out so awesome, and rides so nicely, that I decided to sell the Flat Black Cafe Bike and keep this one. (I have a 10 bike limit for personal bikes, until I find a place with more storage.)

Tres bien, eh?
